We periodically have live music at Cafe O’Play on our cafe stage.  If you can’t join us in person, below is our CAFE CAM which features a live feed of our concerts. Cost: Music at Cafe O’Play is listener-supported, so an opportunity to make contribution will be offered. Below you can see a list of upcoming concerts.

INNER REACHER PROJECT Live on the Cafe Stage!. Saturday May 6th, 5:00pm-7:00pm.  Jim Schilling on piano and flute, Donnie Dasco on Sinatra-style vocals, Dennis Roden jazz guitar, and drummer extraordinaire Edgardo Cora, bring you the sounds of classic jazz.

STEEL DRUM BAND TRIO Live on the Cafe Stage!  Saturday May 20th, 5:00pm-7:00pm, Blaine Klein, Ben Warsaw, and Edgar Cora come together to create a melodic trio. Ben, from North Canton provides a bluesy foundation on guitar, while Blaine, from Akron layers in his musical voice on steel drums. Edgar Cora, from Cuyahoga Falls, glues together the trio on drums. This trio touches on many different styles to satisfy any listener.

THE JAZZ SHEPHERDS, Live on the Cafe Stage! Saturday May 27th, 5:00pm-7:00pm. Celebrate international Jazz day with the Jazz Shepherds! The Jazz Shepherds (www.facebook.com/jazzshepherds) have been playing their brand of high energy jazz standards and contemporary jazz bossa novas in the Cleveland / Akron area for over 10 years. Led by guitarist Ed Alisauskas, the Jazz Shepherds can be seen frequently playing area clubs & restaurants such as Mustard Seed Café, Clearview Inn, Wolf Creek Tavern and the Society Lounge.

THE BIASELLA TRIO LIVE ON THE CAFE STAGE Saturday June 10th 5:00pm-7:00pm Performing in the greater Cleveland and Akron area since 2009, The Biasella Trio plays classic jazz standards. Suitable for any occasion, the trio features Theodore Darden on alto saxophone, David Spondike on upright bass, and Paul Biasella on drums. For more information, lookup the trio online.

100 WAYS LIVE ON THE CAFE STAGE July 22nd 5:00pm-7:00pm This quartet interprets contemporary rock songs in their unique ways. Mickie Getz’s gentle voice adds new perspective to rock and pop classics from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s. Roger Dill’s acoustic and electric guitar rhythmic ability, melodic solos, and unique sound transport you to the era when this music was originally played on the radio. Javier Cora on bass and  Edgar Cora on drums lay down a solid groove to make this possible while adding a twist to make the audience fill their presence.
